@ShawnLangfordI do agree that we might reach that point for juniors in that time, but I still see it as a might. Every prediction so far has been massively off.
And even if it does, what then? If you don't hire juniors, senior profiles will become even more scarce and sought after. And you'll end up paying those junior wages to them or with unsupervised AI.... which will also cost a fortune.
Hey, on some level I hope it does. Because that means I'll become irreplaceable and can probably start picking where I work and for what wage.
