If any corporation is moronic enough to enable complete machine autonomy without pre-programmed cut outs then humanity will get what it deserves. The single huge advantage humans have is their energy source. An AI is going to need vast supplies of power, as long as continuance of that power is controlled by humans just switch it off, blow up the generator etc.
