@skyswimsky1994 1. The problem with your claim is that „AI” „art” goes against the moral justification of automation. Automation is justified on freeing us from work we hate, and work that is to dangerous, to allow us to do the things we love. „AI” „art” is the opposite of this, and is based on automating the fun, creative jobs we want.
2. There is no such thing as „prompt engineering”. Writing a bunch of search terms for your algorithm to generate an image from scanned patterns of pixels is not engineering, and it will never be engineering. You are just ordering an image. Commisioning it.
3. Stop calling this nonsense progress. The commodification of art, the increase in the quality and quantity of disinformation, the increase in poverty, the reduction of social mobility, and automation going the opposite way is not progress.
4. You made another mistake. By the time cars were mass produced, people stopped using horses. By that time, most cities were walkable places, designed for humans.
