Agreed. The biggest thing I don't understand is developers will ask to refactor a section of code and management will say no because it will destabilize the codebase and they would have to retest the *entire* application in order to ship a new version. And then you insert an AI agent that's going to willy-nilly rewrite the entire codebase in the background without worse implications? AI CEOs are drinking too much of their own koolaid. It makes sense though since I don't know any CEOs that know the first thing about programming.
