@yourparalysisdemon1936 I don't think people are going to stop using AI art generators any time soon. I have a friend who's currently working on art for children's books by generating images with AI and then tweaking them away from the uncanny valley manually. This wasn't even one artist's decision. It's a whole art house that passed down the order to it's artists that they must generate the images with AI and then tweak them to be appealing to humans.
The good news is that as long as the AI can only generate soulless and uncanny images - artists will have the job of making AI outputs appealing to a human audience.
