Ah, so I see you define what art is for everyone else. If skill is being a necessary part of what art is, are you going to boycott savant artists because they were simply born to excel in art with minimal effort?
What would you say if I rejected your definition of art and say, that I enjoy art for the purest emotional need of aesthetics and that I consider anybody requiring effort in art to be an artistically shallow, superficial, impure and egoistical person? That all I care about is emotions a piece of art evokes, the same way the beauty of nature, made without any effort whatsoever, evokes in me? That I am not interested in a show off of skills of acrobats in a circus, made for easily impressed masses. Or would that be too elitist for you? 🙂
That being said, I enjoy the traditional artistic process and I don't find much fulfilment in delegating it to AI. I like to create and learn how the manual process works. But that does not mean I cannot enjoy art produced by AI. A good curator will provide a good art no matter the source of the art.
