There is a difference between printing books and using AI to create anime though. Printing books only use the authors original work to copy instead of mashing other people's literature together (without consent) to make another one (which is what many AI companies do). You _can_ argue that people always draw inspiration from other creative works, but they don't just mash them together. They use their own experiences, views, emotions, and knowledge as well. But lets say the AI generator for this anime was trained ethically. On a small scale, for individual people who dont want to make art or animate but had an idea for an anime, this could be great. However, if big companies decide to get their hands on this (and they def will, especially with how rapid AI is advancing and how large the demand for anime is), people already being paid little for hard hours can be pushed out of their job and into animation jobs with higher competition. Also, if you want to be an artist (or any form of creative pursuit), using AI to create the animation/song/etc for you doesnt make you one. If you truly love art, you'd practice and get better so you can make the project you want. Human dedication is so undervalued if all you ever care about is the product and not the process 💔
