@foolserrand9715 you just backed my point more that we’re moved by GOOD art not ANY art. It’s interesting you bring up a musical example. I have a very strong background in music and know a lot about music theory, composition and production. I recently watched a video from TwoSet Violin where they look at a new classical music AI and you should definitely check it out. TwoSet looked at AI music awhile ago and AI music couldn’t do classical genres at all, absolute garbage would come out of it. The new classic music AI tho… it’s very very good and is really interesting hearing TwoSet’s take on it. They both are incredible musicians and give really good insight into what the AI did right and where it went wrong.
AI very much seems like it has the potential to keep getting better and better at what it’s doing and I think it will be very interesting how this conversation of “is there any emotion or idea or representation in the art” will evolve.
