@U@UserName-q4i5d Not a strawman. You moved from “this is how the tech works” to “this is just how I use it.” Also, diffusion is not a parts-bin retrieval system for faces and hands. It generates by iterative denoising from learned representations. Memorization can happen, but that is not the same as saying it assembles stored image fragments. I have been working in ML for 16 years; precision matters; and as a coder and technologist for 26 years. Prior to that I studied art. Interestingly enough; I was initially skeptical of technology back in the day with “digital artist” as I was a physical medium guy; I wanted to understand how that technology worked which lead me to go to school and start my tech journey. I don’t want a.i. slop; or people giving their emotional and guns judgement to a machine, I also don’t want people to misrepresent what the tech does.
