​​@Chonbeee I think the term "use ai" can sometimes be a bit misleading because there's a huge difference between using ai by asking an AI to generate a whole book and using an AI to help organise notes, bounce ideas off and analyse your drafts to help you notice patterns and themes in your own work that might have passed you by otherwise There's also a middle ground where you have the ai provide prompts or generate small narratives or characters and you build a larger story off of that I don't think ai is going away so we're all going to have to come to terms with in our own way, from my personal experience I've found it's not very satisfying to have the ai do all or most of the work but it is extremely useful for me to have the ai act as a creative team and assistant that works for me on my own projects and the finished projects are normally much better for the human engagement For example I'm working a short film I can write the script and have the ai format it in a professional way that's easy to read and has some stage directions that allow me to learn things I wouldn't have otherwise I'm also learning inks for comic art, I've trained an AI to create a visual language based on my own uploaded pieces and now after creating a script for an issue I'll have the ai analyse it and generate a basic a basic storyboard image for each page. I then sketch and ink the storyboard on paper using the generated image as a guide or inspiration and then complete the final image with colour The final images are my creations and the generated images are great source materials for me who is still learning body shapes and perspective etc
