Just an update. I lost my job at that small manufacturing company about 4 weeks ago. The owners decided that their daughter who is "getting her marketing degree" at college currently could do a close approximate of my job with the use of AI. So it got me... well that and nepotism. It got me in the end.
That company is sinking fast and in financial turmoil, so I guess it was inevitable.
