At one point people lived short, brutal lives in which they watched their children die at a rate of 70% before age 3. Technology has give many people a quality of life that would have been thought the provenance of gods. Japanese artisans still make swords in the fashion of their ancestors and that is just 1 example. Are you the next brilliant artist that will take the world by storm and become wealthy? Probably not, most artists are not regardless of AI or no AI. Should that stop you from practicing your art? Hell no! Do you art, enjoy the act of it.
