Our consciousness is emergent from the connection in our brains, and the form it takes comes from the specific connections for example other animals are conscious too just in different ways via mutation and evolution through natural selection. If we created a robot that simulated the processes of our brains from dopamine to adrenaline, from fear to love and be social to start out knowing nothing and to learn, we would create a "human" that isn't biological. Indeed this path is set before you, that you are simply programmed, your brain responds in specific ways to external stimuli and through the butterfly effect and deterministic causality that is also predetermined. Specific factors in your life lead to your interest in this video (and factors in space and time lead to the creation of this video) and your biological programming (combined with your experience as our brains are pretty plastic.) led to how you felt about it and how you were capable of feeling about it. Feelings themselves come from our biological programming. We like to think of "free will" but it isn't a thing. Your "free will" can be inhibited by things like drugs, hunger, lack of sleep.
