@goldenbanana7250 well the electricity cost would be minimal. Like less than a dollar probably. I’m assuming they don’t charge maintenance fees or include a portion of the initial cost for the machine. Then you would multiply the pay rate for each of the people operating the machine and examining the images for however long it took to complete the job. I would guess it’s like $50-$100 depending on if it’s lower-paid technicians or higher-paid employees doing all the work. When AI can make diagnoses the same or better than humans, it will probably be like $1.50 total. But the hospital will still bill insurance $1000 anyway because that’s how that racket operates.
