This is bull. Sheer and utter bull. Trump screaming fake news vs trump saying haitian immigrants are eating cats and dogs is not the freaking same. And as a reminder, this law entirely bans any attempt to regulate ai. There are definitely ways to better handle it. You don't have to censor speech to deal with misinformation. And even if you do, that can very often be a reasonable trade off. There's a reason hate speech isn't without consequences
