@engi-nerdy You raise a really interesting question though. How is automated/AI driving supposed to work? Is it going to be tuned or developed for regional laws? Will a Tesla (or Ford or Volvo or whatever automated system) not turn on a red in Quebec, or will it treat pedestrians in or near crosswalks differently in different cities/states/provinces? Will the FSD change its ruleset as the car drives through different regions to ensure it follows the laws properly?
It's starting to feel like an unrealistic, intractrable problem to solve and that you can't realistically remove the driver in all but very controlled situations.
