As it stands, AI seems to be on to take over IT, more so than blue collar work. Not that those robots don't exist, it's just a blue collar worker requires a robot+AI, the IT it replaces is usually just AI. The blue collar worker is more expensive to replace, so I imagine that switch is far behind the AI taking over IT is. So maybe look into a blue collar job.
