I agree. Alex is using “gotcha” questions on a program that was designed to mimic human conversation as perfect as possible. The program’s goal, when it comes to language, is not to be truthful.
It’s supposed to be truthful with the information and data it provides, sure. But its language is only replicating English speech patterns. And the only reason it does not include emotional phrases like “I’m sorry” are because it was told to use them. Hardly the program’s fault.
Entertaining video, but it doesn’t make sense in the context of the programming. Either way, giving a lot of Will Smith in I, Robot vibes, which is fun.
