If any of these people were actual artists instead of copy painters then AU would not be a threat because AI can't create original compositions of its own. AI just takes data and creates an image based on previously existing works. Hence it is just a sophisticated copy machine. Actual art is original and can only be created and composed by humans because its form and qualities are completely unique and have yet to be created. Hence real art is not just a copy. The REAL art community discovered this decades ago with Andy Warhol and his copy print art. There was the exact same panic among "artists" when he did his famous soup can and Marilyn Monroe portraits about whether industrial copies of pieces are art or if it was just a consumer item. Unless you think Warhol style pieces are a threat to real artists too, the whole AI issue is just stupid. Its like if instead of actually debating whether Warhol was actually engaged in art or not, the academics that went against his work just copied what he did various art periods to "get back" at him and thus only making him more famous and proving Warhol's point of art no longer being original or creative. In reality, the Academies actually did push back against Warhol by elevating truly original works and compositions. This is what the Internet should have done. At this point y'all are just showing the greater world that these people were never artists but just human copy machines that are getting outmoded by some cheaper and easier to manage.
