Its an offensive protection for artwork. It puts special pixels in your artwork that messes up with the training of AI.
Only problem is that its very easy to bypass. Going to PowerPoint and resizing the image just by a little bit is enough to remove 90% of the protection. Denoising gets rid of it entirely.
AI Trainers automate the denoising process (you don't even need an AI to do it. a simple batch process is enough) to undo the protection, rendering Nightshade completely useless.
Though, I suppose, something is better than nothing.. Even if that something does nothing.
