@xjood805 I don't really know how to explain it, but I think the best way to say it is no art exists in a vacuum. The art of creation is a love letter to all who see it. When I see a painting of a broken down neighborhood from an artist's childhood I know the artist loved the people in it. When I see fanart of characters I know the artist loved the story. When I read a story about corruption I know the artist loved the people who suffered negative effects from it. When I see a ceramic bowl with little drawings on it even though it's easier to buy plastic ones I know the artist loved the act of eating even if it isn't necessary for it to be pretty. Because I know this I love the artist in turn. When you see a person's love you see a part of themselves that is the most intimate thing you can see. Art without the soul behind it is devoid of love. Also ai is awful for the environment and drives up electricity costs in areas by data centers (usually rural and poc prevalent neighborhoods, but I digress) because they steal electricity.
