It's great to hear from someone in the field. Some artists don't understand 1) you can't copyright a style, and 2) copyright law allows for some specific uses of copyrighted material without permission. And it should.
You are the expert, but am I correct in understanding the the AI product contains the learned "style" of the artist that it gleaned from analyzing their work, not their actual work? Right? If the product contained the entire library of images it would take up many terabytes.
