@carlpanzram7081 Climate change has been accelerating since 2010, we are closer to midnight on the doomsday clock than we have ever been and AI development is uncontrolled, unregulated and recklessly being sent into the open after social media algorithms have totally destroyed are social fabric? What are you talking about?
'Doing absolutely substantial things' means literally nothing if the results are the opposite of the required outcome. We don't even have political systems that are willing to discuss the above issues in a decent way, let alone action effective solutions. Your blind optimism is far more destructive in my opinion.
