People enjoy the process of creating art, often times more than the final product. Also, AI art programs are trained off of human artists work, without proper consent, and zero acknowledgment.
AI art generation might save time, but most artists would rather spend the time honing their craft and creating something they can feel proud of. Using AI takes away the pride of creating something with your own hand.
