@CharlieG_0 Objectively, you're incorrect. China, while pro ai in industries that are particularly uncreative, have the same western opinions in AI being a job stealer for creative artwork.
If Hoyoverse were to use AI AT ALL, the chinese fanbase would get super frustrated, and then there's the fact that the fandom has already stopped playing genshin out of frustration for natlan. Adding AI to the mix would only further destroy any positive income Hoyoverse is getting. Them having 'more profitable' art wouldn't matter, especially when AI art is notorious for not looking like a certain character despite being based on it. Recognition and the effect if has on the public is why Hoyoverse is even attempting to recify the lack of voice over in game in the first place. AI Voice over fears are making people not do their work, and Hoyo OBVIOUSLY wants their VAs back.
