@laurentiuvladutmanea I've already talked about my view on copying in my other comment.
As for the humanity of AI, whether it is sentient or not etc is irrelevant in my view. Whether the AI's creation is true art or not can be debated. Whether the final product is its own intellectual property is not debatable. In the end it is a unique product (unless it is blatantly a replica), and it should be treated as such. How the ai learned to create the product should not be relevant as humans also learn by imitating and even if they didn't, the learning process should not bear legal consequences.
All that ai will ever create will be based on what came before. Most of what humans learn and create will also be based on what was before. Legally it would be a mess to try to prosecute any party for their learning process, human or ai. The only thing with legal bearing would be the final product. And that is virtually indifferent for ai and humans.
