This society runs on consumerism and if you're taking that spending power from them then the whole system collapses. You can say whatever you want and yes AI could possibly replace 100% of all jobs in the future but that will require a fundamental change in how a society or this entire planet will then function. And let's be real here, the most powerful entities in this world are goverments and people in general, as long there are rules, regulations and laws that are set in place to mitigate all this we'll be fine. The most optimal future is one where both humans and AI live in a symbiosis.
