Or willingly volunteer to stay in this broken world. We all know it is broken and merging with AI and robots to run to live forever will not make it better. Besides who will pay for all the electricity to keep it going. Whoever is in charge could control your thoughts and turn your switch off as a transhuman (part human and AI/Robot) or in the meta verse when they get tired of paying for you or consider you a useless eater or energy taker on the planet.
