I’m not asking anyone to offload their thinking. I’m asking designers to own it harder.
If using AI makes your ideation go stale, that’s a choice in how you use it, not an inevitability. Using AI as a TOOL, not as an answer is our position. There have always been technological innovations that have changed how designers work, and NON were an 'end of design' invention; scribes to Printers, manual pasteups to digital, film to digital, digital presses, services like fiverrr...
But walking away from the entire industry because some companies undervalue designers? Design has always had to justify itself. That’s giving them more power than they deserve. AI just makes that tension louder.
