@bulbstark7231 Maybe not. However, we CAN make some deductions based on the nature of experience. For example, try to explain to someone who has NEVER tasted salt what salt tastes like WITHOUT using subjective language. (Or even with!) Subjectivity is a characteristic part of consciousness and inherent in truly understanding experience. It is part of what makes us intelligent. It is this very aspect of conceptual meaning which allows us to understand what a cat is and not have to rely on algorithms to identify one. Without a way to introduce that aspect of existence into "AI", we will never be able to create true intelligence. While I am technically an agnostic, I find it humorous when people who don't believe in a god assume that humans can be one.
