I am absolutely in favor of AI in general, as it will provide massive net utility over the long term. Humans are very short sighted and don't consider what AI brings to the table, you will understand this in the future.
I think copyright infringement is a minuscule price to pay in the long term, i.e copyright of information (including art) shouldn't exist in the first place. It's not as if anyone has stopped you from continuing making art, this does not effect an individual outside of the fact that the barrier for effectively make a living of art has become much greater.
From my point of view, art itself has no inherit value, so nothing in the first place has been lost. Only the people who perceive art can attach value to it.
For me personally, I am pretty indifferent on the fact whether a human or a machine has produced art.
