Because the "technology" is owned almost entirely by big corporations and only shared with us in a way that benefits them. It's not really possible to download or train your own AI and just have it on your phone (yet).
Plus, we're only going to get robots by the time the military and then the manufacturers and the millionaires are already tired of them
