Just said this and then seen your comment, this thought has been at the back of mind for some years now. Micro economy will stagnate and then die. Those in sectors that can't be automated have a false sense of security that their jobs are safe, Barbers, dentists etc, but in those 'safe' professions, indeed you need paying customers for you to make that job / business viable. That corporate video I watched some years ago (about 2010) was about the progression of economy leading up to 2030, where few will be employed, indeed bleak and scary stuff. When people say '2030, you will own nothing and be happy' this is really on the way and those in denial are in for a very rude awakening.
