@logantotman -- That's the AI of today. AGI is the ultimate goal of AI and that will most likely be sentient.
Art is not something humans "own" the rights to, nor is intelligence. Any species with intelligence is capable of it.
The point here is Hollywood writers and film makers should just get over themselves and their insecurities and stop trying to ban the type of "art" that doesn't meet their expectations. They've no right to do that, imho.
