People "shame and blame" because there's a clear distinction between AI "art" and genuine art by people who took years to master their craft. One is "created" by people with no passion who just want to make a quick buck or want attention. They want instant satisfaction and have no interests in putting effort into anything. The other is actual art and is created by people with passion and talent. You should want to support someone who actually puts hours of work into what they are doing not some fake "artists" that don't understand or care about the value of a genuine artistic work. Trust me plenty of people care about the difference. The main problem is that nowadays it's hard to tell so people don't know if stuff was made by AI or not. There will always be people who don't care but they don't understand the value of art or how much effort artists put into their work.
