@cyberneticbutterfly8506 Well that's part of it, yes, but not all of it though. The bubble isn't just about the financials, it's about the fantasy finally clashing with reality and it turning into what it should have been in the first place, or at least in that direction. That's built on public opinion ("Free ChatGPT is crap, is this what AI is like? Lame!"), pre-conceived usage notions that didn't pan out ("We... uncovered something unexpected, let's backtrack on this path"), hitting physical roadblocks that they didn't realize they couldn't get past much before that approach doesn't work ("To get it to actually be able to do xyz, we estimate we'll need about... 3 nuclear reactors per data center. Errrr...."), and a myriad of other things that the financials are directly affected by. It will never disappear, I know that. But that is just more wishful thinking than anything because the main reasons it won't ever go away is 1. you have to keep pursuing it because if you don't then other people will, and 2. other people suck.
