Yes. Why won’t they be honest and face reality like the intelligent people they are? AI is replacing workers whose tool is their brain. But self driving cars, buses and trucks aren’t replacing creative work. Bezos and Musk are threatening us with an army of robots that will do all the physical work humans used to do. How many consumers will there be left if all work is performed by AI or robots?
And I hope to live in a world where if AI is doing my work overnight, I’ll be discussing interesting things with other people not AI. They’re making up these fantasies about using AI that I personally don’t want.
