right but
1. ai art programs take thousands of unconsenting artists' works to output the millions of generations a day. and while human artists may reference or take inspiration from other human artists, ai is souless and personally, if i were one of the referenced artists, i would prefer my work benefiting a beginner artist exploring their art style, rather than a computer that will eventually replace my job :P
2. elaborating on the "replacing jobs" part, you genuinely cant deny that its already happening because we can see it unfolding it real time. for example, ive seen many ai signs and advertisements, including the ai coca cola ad that was a minute+ long. so yes, ai will steal artists' jobs, and human artists have a right to be upset by that, especially when they did not give consent for their art to be used by ai programs.
i agree that ai art may have its uses, but we have to take into consideration the millions of human artists that will be affected by it. imo, the cons outweigh the pros.
also people have never claimed that digital artists will "steal real artists' jobs???" i mean ive seen the "not real art" thing but not that.
