@disorderandregression9278 The older people (45+) who like AI stuff generally seem to prefer the "toy" AI generators, since they treat them like those talking tom apps. Most of those probably have never even heard of SD. But there is a portion of the tech-minded GenX and a lot of millenials - me being one of the latter - who grew up with far more blatant reuse of art to make our share of internet culture. Animutations, YTPs, AMVs, memes in general, mashups, remixes, oodles of people making a meagre living off of fanart and fanfics. A smaller portion are actually educated on art history but for much of us our subculture has been, for decades, one of rampant reuse. It would be against our own interests to oppose AI art.
