@theepicpotato4997 This is a super well written comment, and yeah I agree, it's rare to see something so logical and unbiased on the internet, especially in YouTube comments like this. A big problem however that I currently have with ai like that is control, it can't perfectly replicate the vision that you have in mind, you can only describe the scene to the best of your ability and you just have to hope that you get something that aligns with it enough. Of course this is going to improve but if you draw something you can really realize your vision one on one. I think we might even slowly be nudging in the direction of being able to just export stuff from your imagination directly without a middleman, I mean brain implants like neuralink are making great progress, you could even combine it with Ai to maybe help clear up some noise or missing data. Regardless, I really do agree with your points, it's kind of strange to me how I really only ever see these arguments and outcries for drawing, not about what texts LLM's are trained on, songs for music composers etc, you really only see major drama about this in the drawing space (and also kind of voice acting) Do you think that it's possible for ai to perfectly mimic human creativity at some point? I get that people are scared of eventually losing their jobs but if everyone does, nobody does, we're going to need new systems in place and maybe people can really be free to just do stuff they like because they enjoy it, not because they have to do it to make a living or keep society going.
