@bayesian0.0 It’s a common misconception that all technology improves exponentially, but it’s not. It’s not even linear over time. It’s exponential for a while, and then it flattens. AI was in heavy development many years before it came out to the public.
AI for code the last 2 years has definitely improved. Albeit, not extremely. People were saying exactly what you’re saying now, two years ago, and here we are.
ChatGPT is already nearly 3 years old, and they have spewed billions and billions into it… It’s a lot better, but still quite some time from making senior devs obsolete….
