I mean, the defense ChatGPT is putting out here is right. The way these models work is that your ChatGPT is essentially just one instance of the model. Chubbyemu model and the victim model are entirely different entities. They are under the ChatGPT umbrellas, but his model actually does not know about the incident, until it had to search it up. In layman terms, every individual chatGPTs are twins, same thinking process, but can lead different lives and develop different habits.
Not to say these POS companies dont cover their ass and censor up the wazoo. They will not give a shit how many are harmed until it hits their bottom line(and even then, you have to keep hitting the bottom line before they even pretend to care). But technically in this case, even if a hypothetical AI company is ethical(lmao) and would tell you the truth, that specific AI will still deny it gave advice related to the incident because it actually didnt. The real line of questioning Chubbyemu should be asking to the AI is prodding how the company is willing to release such an unreliable and maliciously incompetent product to use.
