@xxufuf8y94 Why I need to create art only by drawing? This is not the only one way how you create it. For example there are VFX artists that use Houdini to create art. They use math and algorythms instead of drawing. Is their work is a garbage too? Even if it looks nice? I already responded about stealing. AI don't copy artists work. It create a multidimensional vector space of posibilities that represents ideas like style and other abstract concepts (that's why unedited generated result looks generalized). Those concepts doesn't belong to anyone based on the current copyright law. But I said how we can fix this so artists could get monetization. This way no one will lose "work" because the purpose of work is to make money. And artists will get maney and still could draw by hand if they want. The "soul" is just a details and emotions that you put into work that are resonating with other people who enjoy your work. Why VFX and photographers can have soul in their work too even if this is not a drawing but a random result? The answer is not so obvious but I'll try to explain and this way may be you can see AI generators from another angle. Photographers or VFX artists try to find right combination and then anjust composition ect. Or they can try many variants untill they one work will be something special. Same applies to AI. If you just use it as a random generator then it's like take a lot of photos - there is possibility that you'll find something interesting with "soul" but you can don't find it even after 1000 attempts. But if you use AI as a tool then it is more possible that your work will be enjoyable. Because visual representation is only part of the work. There are ideas, details and other stuff, that create "soul". When you take part of organization of information same like Houdini artists adjust nodes to create some speciffic result then you put something from yourlesf into work and this way you create something that we call "soul". Creating AI art with soul is not an easy task to do. Sometimes you need to do postprocessing work in Photoshop or even mix multiple generated works. This is similar task that CG or compositor artists do. Not to mention that you need good logic and sometimes programming skills and understanding of math and machine learning to create interestig combination of models to crrate something new. Real artist can use AI too. This is just a tool. Otherwise "real artists" that draw on paper can say that "digital artists" are not real artists too, becase they can use layers, undo moves, copy elements, use brushes ect. This way they can create art faster and more easy than real artists that draw on paper. That's why I think that all people that create result that people enjoy are real artists. They are just different types of artists. CG artists, VFX artists, AI artists, digital artists or even some mix of those. Also "real artists" with the help of AI can create better works with a soul faster. Programmers works will lack quality because they doesn't have experience, talent and fantasy that artists have. And many of programmers just use AI as a random generator and this way this is like taking a photo and hoping that there will be soul. That's why in tasks where you need artist's skills artists are still necessary. And those who fire artists and try to replace them will soon understand their mistake when works from human artists become more popular. But there are tasks that can be optimized. This is mostly routine work. For example you need to draw a potato for a game or motion design. This way drawing is just a part of the work and soul appears in the final product as a resuls of enjoying organization and animation of element or ideas or plot that are represented by final work. Also some abstract works can be generated too. Because AI work based on generelization to begin with. This is similar situation that happened with artists that draw photorealistic art and when photography was invented. You can still draw photos if you like but for commercial product it will be easier and faster just to take a photo. Same situation here with abstract art. Btw I'm not against to learn to draw. I like to draw myself. But I interested in finding a right way to create art together with AI. In the end the final result is important not how you made it. If it is enjoyable then it's perfect.
