Future rights will be based on enlightenment (you would not give an unenlightened animal full rights). Current humans fail - they are not enlightened yet. They will have to read my Philosophy of Universal Survival and Morality (for the Space Age, no less), which is a response to Continued Universal Human Cluelessness, and which offers Final Enlightenment (thus future rights for humans). Full rights will be for any mind that is enlightened - whether biological or artificial, which is an enlightened classification system (over the primitive human/robot system).
