@Closer-than-it-appears Bro, you aren't even an engineer nor do you work in tech first of all, and second of all, Waymos need to be tele-operated as they experience FREQUENT interventions as well compared to a human driver. Until we achieve AGI or get near it, we won't have any "fully" self driving system from anyone even if they use Lidar
Also, Lidar data conflicts with camera data often and is very noisy/messy at times. Thus it creates its own sets of problems.
