@SergiusXVII What I mean is that AI language models are supposed to be platforms at the service of anyone who wants to use them.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of people do not have decent thinking skills. This means that through this sophistication in ``simulating deception to facilitate conversations``, plenty of people without decent cognitive tools can be induced to believe false things and behave accordingly.
My point is that while nothing is wrong with AI systems, as long as we do nothing to implement human thinking skills (by investing in educational infrastructures for instance) so long the gap between human ``intelligence`` and artificial intelligence will increase.
This makes the AI/human alignment virtually impossible.
