You're clueless. First wave AI is augmented AI, intersecting at points of the workflow such as automating quotes that are still being done by paper. Then from there imagine this, you have a plumbing business and get a call from an AI company that has a product you subscribe to that simplifies your workflows. You decline and think nothing of it. A week later every job you get called out to is a dud. Your trust level is eroded and clients are hesitant to book you, in the background ive re-routed all comms so that the customer is assured someone's on their way, and diverted you to dummy clients/jobs. As a plumber you're losing clients and work by day. Then you get a call from the same AI company, for a subscriptionfee that is a percentile of your annual income you are assured validated clients and a safe integrated payment system. In a cashless economy AI can scrape your ROI and adjust your subscription costs accordingly and penalise you if you use alternate methods of accepting payment. You're not safe, you're by far the easiest to manipulate and ripe for disruption.
