Uh actually, it is, lol. Have you ever heard of diffusion models? They work by putting varying levels of noise on the sample image, then making the ai reconstruct the original image based on the images with the noise. To produce an original image, they use a GAN, which puts two neural networks to the test in a competition of which can make a deceiving image. One spews out the training data image, and the other makes fake images. This process repeats until, what is called a "discriminator network", is tricked into considering the fake images are real (or realistic enough), at least from what I've understood.
So that's how images work, but the diffusion model can still make pretty close reconstructions of your image even if you have noise in it. Diffusion models already work with noise.
