Yea. If I search for "students cheating with AI", the search engine gives me an AI-generated (!) blurb saying something like "While there were initial fears about students cheating with AI, data shows that the rate of actual cheating has not increased."
If a new cheating technology came out that is almost impossible to detect outside of some dead giveaway cases, how can we rely on the observed rate of cheating??
