I wouldn't say "drawing nonsense", I would say "drawing abstract" or "drawing non-human characters". A massive majority of the data that mid-journey and Dall-E 2 are trained on are of humans and real-life animals. Thus, something like an alien or a void-faced character that doesn't follow typical human proportions would either be completely impossible, or require the equivalent of a high-school essay to generate.
